    Miguel Lino Diogo dos Santos Autor Miguel Lino Diogo dos Santos é engenheiro mecânico, actualmente a trabalhar no CERN, em Genebra, Suíça. Possui um mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica – Projecto e Produção pela Universidade de Coimbra, onde desenvolveu a sua dissertação intitulada Relógio com Turbilhão Tri Axial de Força Constante, sob orientação do Prof. Fernando Jorge Ventura Antunes. Neste trabalho, estudou e optimizou a cronometria de um relógio mecânico, através da combinação de conceitos como o turbilhão tri-axial, a dupla espiral e o mecanismo de força constante, com modelação CAD em SolidWorks e simulações dinâmicas em Simulink/Matlab. Com experiência profissional no ESRF – European Synchrotron e na OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, S.A., especializou-se no desenho e optimização de componentes mecânicos de alta precisão, gestão de projectos e simulações CAE/FEA para sistemas complexos. Tem diversas publicações científicas no domínio da engenharia mecânica aplicada a equipamentos de investigação. Voltar
