Support the IPR – Portuguese Institute of Watchmaking

IPR was born from a passion for watchmaking and a commitment to its development in Portugal. We are an independent project that brings together training, dissemination, and in-depth knowledge of watchmaking — for professionals, enthusiasts, and those simply curious.

By contributing, you will be directly supporting:

• Courses and technical training in areas such as mechanical watchmaking, adjustment, restoration and innovation;

• Publications and specialized content that keep watchmaking culture alive in the Portuguese language;

• Events, seminars and initiatives that bring the community closer together — both locally and internationally;

• Continuous learning infrastructure, such as workshops, watchmaker directories, and online platforms.

Every donation, no matter how small, strengthens IPR's mission: to preserve the watchmaking legacy, train new talent, and create a Portuguese identity in this unique field.

How can you contribute?

• Choose how often you donate: one-time, monthly, or annually.

• Set the amount you wish to donate — every bit of support counts.

• Send your donation by mail or deliver it in person: we also accept watches and watchmaking tools at our headquarters, at Rua Alfredo da Silva, 13B, 1300-040 Lisbon, on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 5pm.
