The first step of a truly Portuguese wristwatch
Les Tugas is the most Portuguese wristwatch ever made, designed and drawn in Portugal. Inside, it features an ETA 2824 movement, one of the most reliable Swiss calibres, possibly the result of the work of many Portuguese watchmakers both in Switzerland and in Portugal.
The First Portuguese Wristwatch
We consider Les Tugas to be the first Portuguese wristwatch.
We established as criteria that 70% of the production costs are allocated to Portugal, as well as the fact that all design, research, and development that led to the project are carried out on Portuguese territory, together with the final inspection and regulation of each piece.
These are criteria commonly used to determine the national origin of a product and reflect Les Tugas’ commitment to production, craftsmanship, and Portuguese identity.

Four vertical strokes crossed by a fifth diagonal evoke the primordial human gesture of counting and marking time. Each stroke represents one of the essential phases of the watchmaking process — conception, manufacturing, finishing, and assembly. The fifth, which crosses all the others, symbolises the synthesis of these stages: the coherence, rigour, and technical mastery that characterise contemporary Portuguese watchmaking.
