PROGRAM

- Wear of excess material

In this first approach, imperfections are removed that sometimes result from boxes built using CNC techniques or resulting from parts used by end users but with many imperfections resulting from use.

- Sandblasting Technique

This is a technique that consists of projecting sand, or pearls of other materials with the aim of producing a specific finish.

- Matte ( Satinage )

The matting technique is a polishing technique in which special brushes are used to produce a matte effect.

At this stage, the edges will be prepared by polishing the material.

- Edge polishing

Once the edges have been defined, you can choose to polish them. This process is quite delicate and follows a set of very specific rules.

- Edge finishing

The edges can be brushed, polished or matted. These different techniques are practiced at this stage.

Metal cases or bracelets can be matte or polished. These different techniques are practiced at this stage.

- Ultrasonic washing

Supplementary techniques:

- Brushed (Round rasp; Belt sandpaper)

In addition to polishing and matting, it is possible to create brushed finishes, with greater or lesser precision. The techniques required to achieve different levels of precision will be taught.

- Sun with Charriot

This is a very specific technique, usually applied to the back of watches. To apply this technique, you will need to use a chariot and a lapidary machine. You will learn the techniques needed to achieve a Solielle finish.
