Siam Paragon Bangkok Watch Week opened on 22 September with more than 45 brands and a programme dedicated to watch culture. Roger Dubuis presented The Metamorph Merlin, the final chapter in its Arthurian wizard trilogy. In Geneva, Phillips announced Part I of the Pucci Papaleo Collection, comprising 16 Rolex chronographs for its November auction.

Bangkok Watch Week opens with more than 45 brands

Siam Paragon Bangkok Watch Week 2026 runs from 22 to 27 September at Siam Paragon. Its second edition brings together more than 45 maisons, independents, collectors and specialists, alongside exhibitions, showcases and The Symposium. The Fondation Haute Horlogerie is also present through the FHH Academy, with the Southeast Asian debut of its Academy Lounge and Watch Advisor certification.

Roger Dubuis closes the Merlin trilogy

Roger Dubuis unveiled The Metamorph Merlin, the final Knights of the Round Table chapter dedicated to Merlin. Limited to 28 pieces, it has a 45 mm pink-gold case and, for the first time in the collection, a hand-engraved case middle requiring around 70 hours of work. Twelve approximately 6 mm pink-gold knights surround 57 blocks of glass, pink gold and Crystalium. The automatic RD821 runs at 28,800 vph and offers 48 hours of power reserve.

Phillips announces the Pucci Papaleo Collection

Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo announced Stopping Time: The Pucci Papaleo Collection of Rolex Chronographs: Part I on 22 September. Sixteen watches will be offered at The Geneva Watch Auction: XXIV on 7–8 November. Highlights include a Ref. 3525 “Bariletto”, a pink-gold Ref. 3335, the probably unique square Ref. 3830, a Ref. 6239 “Paul Newman Musketeer” and a possibly unique 14k yellow-gold Ref. 6264 “Paul Newman Lemon”.

What deserves attention

The day spans three different scales of the market: the consolidation of a major Asian watch event, contemporary métiers d’art, and the documentary value of vintage chronographs. For European collectors, the Papaleo collection will be particularly relevant when it reaches Geneva in November.
