The day at a glance

Citizen Watch Europe expands the Tsuyosa 60 with a 37 mm case while retaining the automatic calibre 8310 and its 60-hour power reserve. The new references are already listed in Portugal.

In Hong Kong, Sotheby’s opened the exhibition for its forthcoming Fine Watches sale today, ahead of the 15–22 September auction and another concentrated week for the Asian watch market.

In Florence, Panerai’s “Immersion” exhibition remains open until 19 September, marking 100 years of the historic Piazza San Giovanni boutique.

Citizen Tsuyosa 60: 37 mm reaches the European market

Citizen Watch Europe presented new Tsuyosa 60 versions yesterday, 10 September, including a 37 mm case for the first time in this line. The smaller format retains the collection’s integrated five-link bracelet, sapphire crystal, magnified date at 3 o’clock and crown at 4 o’clock.

Three 37 mm references are offered with black, light-green and silver dials. The silver-dial version is gold-plated, and the same configuration is also offered in 40 mm. On Citizen’s Portuguese website, references NK0030-51E and NK0030-51X are listed at €369, while NK0032-56A is €429.

The automatic calibre 8310 runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour, uses 21 jewels and provides a 60-hour power reserve. The 37 mm versions are 11.5 mm thick and water-resistant to 5 bar.

Sotheby’s opens Fine Watches exhibition in Hong Kong

Sotheby’s opened the public exhibition for its forthcoming Fine Watches sale today, 11 September, at 11:00 in Hong Kong — 04:00 in Lisbon — at its Maison in Central. The exhibition runs daily through 17 September, ahead of the sale scheduled for 15–22 September.

The exhibition remains open through 17 September, with daily viewing hours, giving visitors several days to inspect the watches before the Fine Watches sale closes on 22 September.

What deserves attention

Panerai opened “Immersion” yesterday, 10 September, at the Museo Marino Marini in Florence. Running until 19 September, the exhibition marks the 100th anniversary of the historic Piazza San Giovanni boutique, opened in 1926.

The exhibition traces the journey from the family workshop to a brand deeply associated with the sea and professional instruments, bringing heritage, technical development and Panerai’s contemporary identity into the same narrative.
