“In Nature , nothing is created, nothing is lost, everything is transformed”
— Antoine-Laurent de Lavoisier
It was with great enthusiasm that we organized the Vintage Watch Show — Tempo Passado, which took place on November 11, 2023, in Lisbon, at the Hotel Júpiter. This exclusive event brought together watch enthusiasts, collectors and lovers, providing an exceptional platform to explore and acquire timepieces of proven quality.
During the Lisbon Vintage Watch Show, visitors had access to a wide variety of exhibitors — both companies and individuals — providing the opportunity to buy and sell vintage and used watches, parts and tools, and various objects related to the theme, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experiences between participants.
Winning Watches
There are several advantages to purchasing vintage and/or used watches. In addition to being a form of reuse with clear benefits for the environment, these watches invariably have a unique aesthetic and historical value, making them highly desirable collector's items. Some watches tend to appreciate in value over time, while others represent a predominantly emotional and invaluable value for their owners. In any case, all the vintage watches available have stood the test of time and have endured to this day, and are winning watches.
“This was a much-awaited event for collectors, buyers and sellers alike, and it finally took place in Lisbon, and we hope it will be just the first of many. We sought to create an event based on transparency and honesty, in which a limited number of sellers will be able to present their watches and items for sale,” says Lourenço Salgueiro, one of the event’s organizers.
