SEW show brings more than 1,500 watches to Prague's Žofín Palace on Friday and Saturday

The 12th edition of the Salon Exceptional Watches (SEW) takes place on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 November, at the Žofín Palace in Prague, with more than 1,500 watches in one place. The show describes itself as the largest in Central and Eastern Europe.
SEW brings together well-known brands, small independent brands and watchmakers. Exhibitors announced by the organisers, led by Jan Pokorný, include independent creators from the AHCI, microbrands and names such as Sinn, Maurice Lacroix, Fortis, Edox, Czapek Genève and Bell & Ross.

Talks take place on the ground floor. Friday is largely devoted to Czech brands, with sessions from Prim Manufacture 1949, Daniel Strom, Molnar Fabry and Luděk Seryn, the only Czech member of the AHCI, as well as Czapek Genève, marking ten years since the brand's rebirth, and calibre creator J.-F. Mojon.
On Saturday, Jaromír Ondráček speaks on Czech watchmaking terminology, Libor Hovorka on self-winding watches and Igor Sirota on rising watch prices. They are followed by Adrian Bosshard of Rado and sessions from Longines, ahead of its 195th anniversary, and Chronoswiss.
The 2025 edition brought together about 60 brands and about 4,200 visitors, a record for the show. The Watch of the Year award went to the Prague duo Prokop & Brož.
The show opens from 12:00 to 18:00 on Friday and from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday. Admission costs 290 Czech crowns online and 350 at the door, and is valid for both days.
