Auction house Hotlotz opens Fine Watches, Part One on 9 November, the first sale of watches seized in Singapore's S$3 billion money-laundering case (US$2.3 billion). Held online only, it ends on 29 November. As the Radar reported on 30 October, the sale had been announced; the viewings, further lots and the sales calendar are now known.

The case began with the raids of 15 August 2023, when more than 400 officers entered luxury residences. According to IDEX, ten foreign nationals were sentenced to between 13 and 17 months in prison, followed by deportation, and more than a thousand luxury items were forfeited.

Deloitte, appointed in July 2025, entrusted the sale to Hotlotz, which plans 15 online auctions between September 2026 and May 2027. So far 338 handbags and accessories and 286 pieces of jewellery have been sold. The proceeds go to Singapore's Consolidated Fund.

The announced lots include the Patek Philippe Nautilus perpetual calendar in white gold, reference 5740/1G-001, a perpetual calendar chronograph in platinum, a Grand Complications Travel Time in platinum and an Aquanaut Luce, a Métiers d'Art Ajourée by Vacheron Constantin, and pieces by Hublot, Hermès, Van Cleef & Arpels and Bulgari. According to IDEX, the Nautilus should exceed US$200,000, judging by comparable sales at Phillips.

Viewings are by appointment only, from 16 to 21 and from 23 to 28 November, at Le Freeport in Singapore, in 45-minute sessions. Bidders must register and pass an identity check before booking.
