Greubel Forsey launches Hand Made 2, a masterpiece of artisanal fine watchmaking, where each of the 270 components is made and finished by hand, reflecting unparalleled rigor.
This process, which takes more than 5,000 hours, results in a 40.9 mm watch, in which 96% of the elements are manufactured entirely by hand, using traditional tools such as precision lathes and pantographs.

Only two to three pieces are produced each year, underlining the exclusivity of this creation. Greubel Forsey redefines the concept of “handmade”, applying it to even the smallest details. Components such as the barrel bridges and balance are decorated with artisanal techniques, including black polishing, straight grain, polished flanks and chamfering.

Precision is on par with modern CNC machines, but achieved by hand. This commitment is evidenced by the hand production of the balance springs, which require individual end adjustment and bending to ensure perfect synchronization.
Hand Made 2 combines the elegant aesthetics of the 18th century with modern innovations.

The Grand Feu enamel dials, blued steel hands and deep rubies contrast harmoniously with the matt German silver and gold details. The architecture of the movement, visible through the thin bezel and open caseback, invites contemplation of every handcrafted detail.

This watch is not just a piece of haute horlogerie, but a tribute to tradition, innovation and rarity, preserving artisanal skills and passing them on to future generations. Limited to a very few examples each year, the Hand Made 2 represents a celebration of true watchmaking craftsmanship.
